When the Search Engines Spider your site they like having a Site Map so they can quickly check every page on your site. Most Search Engines dont go more than 2-3 pages deep in any site to index pages, So if it takes 3-5 clicks to get to any particular page within a site most of the time it will not get indexed. It is always best to have every page available within 2-3 clicks. This is kind of like jumping through hoops to find what they are looking for.

Correct Linking (SEO)

The correct linking within a site is also another known industry secret among SEO Professionals, This is the involved process of the Links themselves being Correctly labeled when linking to another page in your website. When naming a link the best aproach would be to name it as if you were to call a friend by there first name or in other words if you were to link to a page in your website called ( Plantation Real Estate ) the proper way to link would be to Spell out the Link itself ( Plantation Real Estate ). The improper way would be to name the link would be Click Here for more info or somewhere within these guidelines.

Another big thing nowadays is Paid Links to your website, This is the process of paying to have people link to your website from other sites. This can work in your favor and against your favor as well. Google and the other Big search engines have started noticing this tactic and can decrease your search results. From experience I do not recommend this unless they are quality links that are from websites that sell the same products as you or in the same field as your site.
